1. You need to do a 3rd gear pull and floor it from 2800 RPM to at least 6000.
2. What kind of fuel is this? It doesn't seem very good.

Yea lol im gana do some e30 pulls this weekend and see and i will get a better log i have a few on the app ill
Load over to datazap from 2nd- beginning of 4th and see what ya think

You may be able to do something on the 91, but it's probably not going to be amazing. Might be more worth it to just run stock map on 91, then make a Map 6 E30 map.

That’s honestly my plan just wanted to get some input to see if im not on the safe side and im hella new to this so just wanted to talk to some people that no more i was going to try to
Change my numbers to accommodate the mods and the e30

Hey folks, 2018 R running Map 1 and crappy 94... how does it look? Also did a Map 0 log on the 91 I had in the take before fill up (turns out I was getting a bit of knock stock). Any idea why my AFR and trims are spiking between 3300-3700? Do I need to adjust my FOL? It is currently sitting at 45 and fuel bias all 100.

Map 1 log is not bad. Map 4 is a no go for the fuel you have.

Thanks! I pulled 2 new logs on Map 1 with about an E20 mix. To me they look quite a bit better, with still a bit of correction on #2. Thoughts?

I've been using a JB4 on my GTI for the last year, and have been happy with it. I just picked up a '16 Golf R with super low miles, and was wondering if I could flash my existing JB4 from GTI to R firmware, or do I need to sell the GTI JB4, and get one made specifically for the R?

I believe that the VAG models are all the same even though they have different groups.

Boy, do I wish this question was settled once and for all. Everybody says ‘ I believe’ they’re the same, ‘I think’ they’re all the same. I cannot buy used because of the uncertainty in those statements. I wonder if it‘s not been answered so we have to buy new...

Let me settle this. They are all the same across the EA888 gen 3 engines (not 3B). . BMS themselves have said its the same.

I appreciate you settling this matter but I‘m afraid I need more than what you provided. Excuse me for not being well versed on gen 3 engines. I have a 2017 gsw 1.8t and assume it’s a gen 3. Can you tell if this (ad in fb marketplace): ‘For sale Mk7/Mk7.5 GTI JB4 tuner, Includes USB cable’ is for a gen 3 engine? Also, did you mean EA888?

The 2017 GSW 1.8 is a EA888 Gen 3 engine. All the sensors that matter are the same as the 2.0 and the ECU software is the "same". I currently have a JB4 that came off a golf R in my 2017 Alltrack and it works perfect.

Save yourself a lot of headache and get the bluetooth module for it.
