Hey guys,

I saw this was recently announced : The BMS pedal tuner.
http://www.burgertuning.com/BMS_PEDAL_TUNER

Basically eliminates the dead spot in the the throttle pedal. Nothing new here - it's a pedal box that helps with a more sensitive and crisper throttle input.
Also works for flashed tuned cars and JB4 tuned cars.

Does anyone have experience with the BMS unit? Is it worth it?

I'm debating getting it.

would love to see dyno/track numbers for this and not just butt dyno
It changes throttle sensitivity. You wouldn't see higher power numbers on a dyno.

I just see it as something fun to change the driving characteristics a little (or a lot, depending on how much you turn up the sensitivity setting).

You can do the same thing through obd11 or vcds for free

I can honestly say this device makes a huge difference in the throttle response.

Throttle response is much more sharp and sensitive

It removes the dead zone (basically the top end of the peddle input)

Was wondering if that's what you meant by "dead spot". It does feel like that last bit of throttle does basically nothing. I also never was able to really tell for sure what the difference in throttle response is between "normal" and "sport" setting on the S model.

I’ve ran it for a week straight and then tried to turn it off. That’s where you realize how much of a difference it makes!

It by no means makes the car faster.
Just cleans up the throttle delay from the factory
