I have seen a number of failed motor mounts (*non-BFI) but haven't seen a failed transmission mount yet. Anyone have a picture of one?

FWIW, I'm currently running the BFI "old-style" Stage-1 transmission mount.

Any issues running your stage 1 engine mount and stage 1 dog bone insert but stock transmission mount? DSG car if it matters

I hope that you are using at the very least the engine and transmission mount pair. Really should also use the dogbone mount as well with them.

As a general rule the three mounts together work as a team. If one or two of them is softer or harder you'll end up with odd deflection that can strain multiple things in the drivetrain and exhaust.

TLDR: don't skimp on just replacing one mount. All three should be replaced as a team to help resist excess engine/transmission movement.

There shouldn't be any issues since we have a threaded boss on the top plate like the stock mount.
