I know. I am aware of the benefits of E mixes and how well these cars do on them which is why I made my comment in the first place. But I would rather have 400whp on a pump gas setup for the previously mentioned reasons.

Dan from DBV2 just finished up my Journal bearing V1 with the new spec compressor wheel. So here’s some turbo porn for y’all. Enjoy.

From my research I would need a HPFP $350 a LPFP $360, fuel line $110, tune $400, and an E sensor $320. Also if I was making the effort I would consider MPI as well so I could run full E85 which is another $900ish. So that’s what I would do if I’m not content with the setup I described in my OP. I’m sure it can be done cheaper but that’s how I would do it if I was going to run ethanol.

FYI, you don't need upgraded fuel lines and although an E sensor makes things easier for blending that isn't absolutely needed either. I've been running E-blend since 2016 without a sensor with no issues. I think I'll finally invest in one soon though. Also be warned a hybrid will be less responsive on pump then on ethanol. Even though the closest e85 station to me is 30 miles away, I choose to daily on E because the car feels so much better on it rather than pump.

an E50 blend is a nice balance because easy to just keep ten cans at my house I fill up with e85 at the pump once every month or two, and the benefits of ethanol past E50 are very much diminished, E50 makes almost as much power as running full E85 but with way less work on these cars and requires far less fuel system mods. literally only requires a HPFP to make 450whp.

Hmm now you got me thinking...cause while it would be great to just run straight E85 and not have the added chore of 2 pumps - MPI VS HPFP is quite the added costs with all the bits n pieces
