Any recommendations? I live in Baltimore City and Work in the Towson area. Looking for somewhere to go once in a while for a good hand wash and wax. Maybe some Opticoat or similar sealant. My new employer doesn't allow me the luxury of using the wash bay whenever I want.

Hmmm. I was looking at Opticoat licensed partners and have heard pretty good things from A detail to remember in Columbia. I haven't used them yet but just heard through word of mouth. Let me know what you found out as I'm in the same area and looking for the same thing. Thanks.

Ha no shit. Thanks for the heads up guys. This guy lives around the corner from me. Looks like I will be giving him a try. Thanks.

Oh man, that black R looks NICE! Where in Baltimore are you? Got a white R in Hampden, and there's a red 16 R about 2 blocks away.

Are you guys talking about A Detail to Remember or B's Wax?

I'm in Bolton Hill. And you definitely need to go to B's Wax! The car looks so good my wife told me I should get it done a couple of times a year! :D

Huge thanks for the shout outs and referrals guys, seems like you Golf R guys are swarming me! Just this weekend I was out in Seaford, DE handling a clients new to him 2015 Golf R. Though it was in outstanding condition there was light marring and some overspray from the front silver accents in the bumper I had to remove before coating with CQuartz UK.

Everyone loves some good reflection shots:

Close up under proper lighting, defects removed:

Did another one while we were there too!

Hey Kurt, just wanted to check up on you and see how the coating is treating you! I know last time we talked you were about to have some body work done on a bumper...

Also, just a heads up for some of you who have inquired with me-- I am now an Opti Coat Pro authorized installer. If you're looking for permanent protection for your MK7's, R's etc let me know!
