Interested in this fiasco as well, and the claims of the wheels being rebranded Chinese wheels. They claimed they got their forged blanks from Canada and produced the wheels in Columbus, OH.

It looks like the sellers are dumping them on eBay.

Nice looking wheels, but I would prefer an established seller who you can contact if anything goes wrong.
