Audi S3 wheels on 17 GTI autobahn?

I looked at a set of those as well!! What got you from "close to rubbing" to "clear for now"?

It was close when I had the car up in the air, but after I was off the stands and torqued, I had some more clearance! I'm going to check it this weekend to see if we were contacting anything!

What about going to 19 pretorias? Still all ok in mk7 world?

currently running on 235/35/19 Yokohama Advan Apex, and dropped on H&R Springs & the car rubs. I've rolled the fenders in the front and cut a piece on the rear and from time to time depending on the road and particular speed Bump, this thing will just rubb away...

Did you use any spacers or updated lugs/studs?

Yes, but they aren’t required.

The GLI has A4 wheels in the same spec, OEM bolts and no spacers.

GTI has 10mm F 20mm R & ECS studs

I wish I understood all of this better.
A different set of wheels at a great price has these specs:

18x8.5 ET 35 Bore 73.10
Tires are 225/40/18

Assuming hub rings (should they be avoided) does this work without issue on 17 GTI Autobahn?
Stock suspension.
