S3 subframe ordered - copped for $140
This is the way... didn't have the Golf R rack in my sights when I did the aluminum subframe, no better time to do it.just grabbed one from LKQ for $147 CAD. Have this plus R steering rack and H&R front sway bar for the GSW
LKQ's website is a nightmare to navigate, what section is the subframe in on there?just grabbed one from LKQ for $147 CAD. Have this plus R steering rack and H&R front sway bar for the GSW
Suspension Crossmember K-Frame is how they label it.LKQ's website is a nightmare to navigate, what section is the subframe in on there?
Looks like one is 10.9 and the other is grade 8.8. I would use the proper bolt.Noticed an incorrect part slipped in place of what I ordered but they look like they may be interchangeable? Could someone confirm my suspicions? I already contacted the online dealer for clarification (replacement if necessary)

yeah, i've seen it used. nothing different in terms of bolts or fitment compared to the audi 8v subframe.Anyone used subframe from MK8? It should be the same right? Even though part #s are different.

not 100% sure which bolts the deadset kit replaces, if it's one of the ones for the control arm then those are still stock.Looking into it now, given I'm dropping in a Tyrol Deadset as well I think that bolt may actually be unnecessary?
