That's what I've figured tooThey do a lot of BMW stuff along with VW/Audi so I assume the core must also be part of a kit on that side too.

These? It was obscene. And that pair of clamp looking things. Those big heavy brackets, I've no idea wtf those were for
Yeah, they looked like those.
Yeah
I guess that it's easier than to rely on employees to only package the proper parts. That's terrible financial planning by that firm. Why ship so many excess parts?
I think they do it because they can cuz of how crazy cheap those parts are. So it’s easier for them to just drop in the right pipes and be done with itThat's terrible financial planning by that firm. Why ship so many excess parts?
You'd use those to mount to the crash bar, in a manner like Baun does with the Vibrant core.Yeah, they looked like those.
Interesting. They include two longer arms that mount to the outer T30's at the top of the cooling stack behind the upper grille rather than mount to the crash bar on the ARM kit - Or at least their instructions have you use the arms rather than those brackets. Probably as the mounting arms have the air sensor relocation on them. You'd use those to mount to the crash bar, in a manner like Baun does with the Vibrant core.
So far so good for me. Haven't done any logging yet, but the car seems happy when I get on it. The only issue is that ambient air temp sensor gets moved as part of the install and that causes it to report a few degrees warmer outside than it really is. I am going to make a 3d printed mount for the sensor to get it in a better position so it reads accuratley again. I'll take the bumper off this weekend and get the measurements I need and stuff. If it turns out to be feasible, I am going to make some of the mounts out of nylon so it will hold up to normal wear and tear (not that there should be much). All good to know. I've been looking at the ARM fmic since I just got their catted dp. Was pretty happy with the quality of the dp so have my hopes up for the fmic.
How are you guys liking it?
no issues at all, knock on wood. All good to know. I've been looking at the ARM fmic since I just got their catted dp. Was pretty happy with the quality of the dp so have my hopes up for the fmic.
