^^^ That's perfect.
Honestly more impressed of that digital dash of yours!! How’d you get that in your GTI?https://www.tawcustoms.com/
TAW Customs. Slightly more expensive than the run of the mill China wheels, but these are high quality and they are guaranteed OEM cores, not knock offs like the others.
No plastic or carbon fiber on mine...

it's a pretty easy DIY, just need to buy the dash, trim, and fiber optic splitter cable. Install it yourself then have the dealer - or a remote coder - remove component protection and code the immobilizer.Honestly more impressed of that digital dash of yours!! How’d you get that in your GTI?
Probably $800 - $1,200. Figuring you can get a custom made CF wheel for $500 or so, have to pay extra for that APR tax to have their branding on it.

I'd have to pay someone to do it for me LOL. I am the least handy person in the world unfortunately. Too bad there doesn't seem to be shops that can do these reliably.it's a pretty easy DIY, just need to buy the dash, trim, and fiber optic splitter cable. yes, https://www.instagram.com/vagretrofit/?hl=enDo you know of anyone who can do it remotely?
It's all the same chinesium. Don't fool yourself into thinking paying more gets more quality.https://www.tawcustoms.com/

No, I coded it myself after having the dealer remove component protection. But I have used that retrofit company before, they know what they are doing.Thanks. Is that who you used? Any issues? Feedback? Cost?
Getting it coded is the main thing that has stopped me from pursuing getting this done. Unlike most people around here, I love the digital dash.
The difference is the core. Yes I know my wheel was assembled in China too, but using an OEM core instead of whatever junk the other guys use makes a difference. Look at the Urotining picture, see how the top of the wheel is flat? MK7's don't have a flat top wheel. It's all the same chinesium. Don't fool yourself into thinking paying more gets more quality.

You get what you pay for.
