Once purchased and installed do you then have to purchase maps or can your manage it free from then on?

Seems like a cheaper alternative to a full APR remap.

I'm so glad I never used mine (lack of Android support), so I traded the dongle for a CTS short shift kit. Way better IMO.

Tucker, was this easy to fit yourself? I like the idea. I have read though the mk7 already has a really engaging gear shift which is already pretty short?

Had my installer do it when he did the springs, but if I had to, I'd probably have no issues doing it myself. If I'm inclined enough to do my own carbon cleaning on my last Mk6, this would be no problem.

The stock shifter is nice and feels great, but I wanted just a little less travel, so I had him set it on the "medium" setting. At first it was hard for me to realize what gear it was in (judging by feel, not looking at the screen), but how I got it down.
