remind me please, you have the 'basic' R kit right, no MPI but the LPFP/HPFP? And you're DSG or no? And do you have an intercooler?
This ^. Debating whether to go Stage 1 or wait and save up for the turbo itself, then later get the HPFP and LPFP.

I’d go stage 1 first, then upgrade- get used to driving the car at stage 1 .. I’ve been tuned since October of last year and I’m still getting used to the car at stage 1

Yeah, in stock guise, I find my R lacking top-end. I've got an intake sitting at my bedside, and some BFI mounts on the way. I'm very eager to get this kit lol.

I hear Ya - i was At APR last week and I’m not sure if I’m gunna get this particular kit. Reason being my driving style - I’m hardly ever above 80 unless I’m on the high way traveling long distances or have the room to open her up, and if i do I’m catching traffic quickly. I’d rather have the torque low end on my stage 1 high torque or an IS38 upgrade..

The high end pull this kit makes is nice, but depends on your goals for the car.

My driving style has changed to where I could definitely utilize the top-end of this turbo kit. I often drive on NYC highways due to my current job, and plan to journey up and down I-95 (visiting family in Pennsylvania or going to Boston to see where my parents spent their Air Force days). Having the power delivery of this turbo would definitely be nice when passing people; safely, of course lol.

Yeah, it looks like a leak out of the pcv valve. Which sucks because ill have to order one and wait for it to come in.
Yes I have the LPFP/HPFP kit, but I also got the APR intercooler piping add-on too. My cars a DSG and I did pay extra for the TCU tune since I’m coming from Uni software. I have a unitronics intercooler, and intake. I have the DV+ too, but I think I’m just going to run the stock DV for now and experiment later. What will be interesting, is that your car and my car will be setup pretty much the same, minus the intercooler and TCU tune. So I’ll be interested to see if those two simple things make any more of a positive difference to this turbo setup.
