Apple Car play stuck on Spotify

My CarPlay seems to be stuck on Spotify for some reason. Anyone have any ideas to fix this? I’ve try resetting to factory settings and also hard reset on the infotainment and nothing.

The screen is responsive on the Spotify menu but will not respond to any clicks on the app icons on the left.

Try unpairing it from Bluetooth and deleting that connection. Then just set it back up again. Did this start with the latest iOS version? Alternatively, try connecting it through the USB port.
