Anyone race the Stinger 3.3T?

Not a VS. yet but has anyone here come across the V6 3.3T stinger? They’re about 1,000 lbs heavier than the GTI but with a JB4, they throw down some high numbers.

Just curious if anyone has had the chance yet.

I ran a ceramic GT2. I'm a sportwagen with is20, downpipe, jb4 and e30. I put about 2 cars on it until I hit my speed limiter. After doing that twice, he then kept going after I stopped at 124 and didn't wait around for me again. I think he was pissed because I was a station wagon and he had temporary plates. I'm sure they are a beast on jb4 or another tune though.

At the 1/8. Can’t remember what he ran, but it was badddd. (Bad in how far behind he was)

Depends: AWD or RWD, dig or roll, fastest to a given speed or top end, GTI or R, manual or DSG?

One way to look at it is by power to weight ratio (PTW). This doesn't tell the whole truth due to so many different factors, but it can give an educated guess..


Power to weight ratios were created using the lowest weight/2WD/BHP

Basic Google search 3600lbs-4020lbs.

Stock BHP- 365 (I believe underrated)

JB4/stage 2- ~442bhp - 549bhp

(Believe the most powerful Stinger is 700bhp)

WHP numbers came from multiple dyno videos on YouTube or provided dyno graphs and then averaged out.
