Good to know about 3DM. Once I have the coils I will place an order through them but I'm waiting until I can inspect them make sure I get everything I need. I've actually run the a different set of Vorshlags before and don't have any issue with them. I switched to coilovers which already had a camber plates so I sold them a while back but I'm actually switching to the Ohlins to go a little more comfortable while still having great performance so I was trying not to run spherical camber plates again.
Mine make slight noises backing out of the driveway but are otherwise silent. And it's hard to say if that noise is the plates or aftermarket endlinks, LCA bushings, etc. You'll love the Ohlins though, super comfortable on the soft setting.

The springs are the least important part of the kit. You are buying the shock.

That being said, you can run any rate all the way up to 12/18K or 650/1000 in/lbs
Are you saying you can run those rates on stock valving?

Also, for those running a 7" with helper spring, is that just for the rear, or the front as well?

Yes. well, I had a re-valve, but I didn't get good dyno graphs so I can't say for sure what difference it made.

Depends on spring rate. The stock springs (400 in/lbs) are about 7.5 inches.

I see. Waiting to have someone check my dynos just to be sure. Stock springs are 200mm. Ordered 180mm, 90n/mm front, 14n/mm rear with one pair of helpers for the rear. Hopefully that's enough to not cause problems with my old-length struts.
