Anyone else find Mk7 Seats uncomfortable?

Airbag warning has always required a code clear in my experience, at least whenever the center dash/vent light is unplugged.

Have you tried going for a short drive? That often resolves the lights after a battery disconnect.

I’ve gone for several rides of 5-20 minutes. Sadly, the airbag light is still shining in the tach and mocking me.

As @bobloblawGTI said, you'll need VCDS or something similar to clear the code. It's a hard coded fault if you unplug the airbags with the battery connected.
