Pretty much any simulator game I see is more popular than I understand... Bus Simulator, Goat Simulator, Farming Simulator, etc etc.

Downloaded Baldur's Gate 3, pretty impressive so far, only an hour in and it's already clearly a huge step up from the first 2 Divinity games... which is really saying something

Train simulators are so big in japan they sell special controllers for them.

I’m still tearing through my back log spread sheet.

Fired up Star Wars the Old Republic last night, after a 3 year hiatus. That game is so good.

Yes. I worked at a Game Crazy like 15 years ago or something. We had one sitting on the shelf collecting dust. I finally took it down one day and cracked it open so we could play it. Got pretty good at it.

Found this game called Deadlink last week and I've been obsessed since I bought it. It's a lot like if they put Doom Eternal into a roguelite. A lot of the roguelite elements kinda remind me of Hades. There's some permanent upgrades you can buy between runs and the temporary upgrades are reset with each run. The gameplay is top notch though. It's some of the best combat I've played in a game in a while, some of the most fun I've had with a games combat. For a $25 game these guys freakin nailed it.

Just finished BG3. Good game, but I'm glad it's over.

I'm not sure it deserves some of the scores it got just because of how janky things like the camera control got at times. I also had a couple issues where my saves became corrupt. The only way to fix it was to go back until I found I save that worked. That happened a couple times.

I put a good 94 hours into it though.

Have about 50 hours in it between release and early access. Currently in Act 2 and haven't been interested enough to play it lately. There's plenty of memorable moments/battles but there's too much dialogue for my liking. I don't have a lot of patience with games.

Impressive job by the devs though without a doubt.

The beginning of act 3 is rough too. There's so many npcs all of a sudden and not as many interesting areas to explore. I swear I spent almost 10 hours just walking around talking to people when I first got into A3. There was very little combat for a while. I was pretty into act 1 and 2, but 3 took a little bit before it got better. Maybe that's just because of how I play. I wanted the ending to go a certain way so I was hesitant to do anything until I talked to everybody. I had to know all my options.
