Any guesses on the extent of this body damage?

My wife was backing down a sloped, tight radius driveway built into a foot-tall concrete retaining wall. The rear wheel rode the edge of the retaining wall until the wall ended and when it rolled off the end, the bodywork landed on the edge of the wall. Damage appears to include the front of the wheel well, the rocker panel, and the door which buckled. still closes and seals and no changes in gaps outside the damaged area, but I'm guessing it's still going to rack up a big bodywork invoice since the rear rocker and wheel well need to be cut out. Plus a new door. Any guesses as to what the estimate will be?

New door - (searched google quick looks like $350-450 easy for a completed used door, most shops will recommend this over replacing the door skin)
metal work - 10 hours @ $48 = $480
Body work - 6 hours @ $48 = $288
Paint work - 4 hours @ $48 = $192
Door R &R labor 2 hours @ $48 = $96
metal supplies - 10 hours @ $5 = $50
Body Supplies - 6 hours @ $2 = $12
Paint supplies - 4 hours @ $35 = $140
Sales tax @ 6.250% = $40.75

total =$1748 at best...

But i got a feeling the shops may bid it with higher hours than what's really allotted towards the projects. maybe more like 8 on the paint and 8 on the body.

Those $48/hr numbers thrown out earlier are laughable. Hourly rates are way more than that in most places.

Go research it… Bay Area and the OPs location differ, let alone all you gotta do is check the national average.

Also… I was charged 49/ per hour in Vegas a few months ago from a reputable shop that been open in Vegas for the last 25+ years.
Have the invoice if needed no doubt some shops charge more some charge less, some bid high hours some bid low hours.

Then again “seen one seen em all” right
