I just started getting this warning yesterday and don't have any idea what it could be.

Parking sensors on the fritz? May be battery related. Did you let the car sit in the garage a lot

Charging the OEM battery back up didn't do anything to the warning I'm getting. It still shows up when the GTI is at a stop location.

Did you check the sensors?

I know excessive dirt on sensors can throw them off...

I know excessive dirt on sensors can throw them off...
The sensors were not dirty at all but clean them anyway. Did the battery tender to get the battery to the best condition possible. This weekend I'll take a look around and see what I can find.

I which I could narrow it to the front or the rear sensors base on the alarm but I guess it can be any one of them.
I remember reading that the sensor that gets aligned after a sensor alignment is only the acc. I’d research that. Maybe that some how ties in with the smaller bumper sensors?
