Idk I didn’t do any more to get them that far in really, my camber plates go upto -6 degrees had them built specially for me ( neo Motorsport coilovers ) and I know in terms of poke but with the camber here extremely close to my perches so I’m worried anything more rhan 215 is gonna cause some serious rub
close to the spring perch/mount in the fronts?

did you click the link i sent? i set it up with your specs - if you go from 9" at15 to 9.5 et 20 the wheel edge is only 1.3MM closer to the strut - even if you stuck with 225s due to the added stretch the tire sidewall will be farther away from the strut than even your current set up is.

Yes of course but you’re also not factoring that because of camber the top of the wheel actually sits fairly closer to the strut that what it says, it’s scarily close without tires :(

I’m not forgetting that at all, when adjusting camber via top plates the distance from your strut to your wheel will not change, it’s stationary mounted to your spindle. Also I’m not solely basing that on the link. I’m basing it on that you said you currently run a 9” with a 15et - are you sure that’s what you’re current specs are? Looking at those coilovers esp for a golf the strut bodies are no larger in diameter that a common GTI coil - I’m currently running a tire setup that’s even closer to the struts and I’m on airbags (so the perches are even larger diameter that a 2” coil spring - and it’s still don’t rub on the perch or body - 265 tire with a 35et.

Btw, this is how my wheel sits (5mm from the strut) on my mqb Tiguan - that’s a 10.5” wheel with a 255 tire, so the sidewall has even more distance. I was worried but even with the sidewall defection I’m still clear

Yes I’m 100% sure those are my specs i had the wheels made to that spec, but Yeah so basically for whatever reason my top perches ( 2 perches) for preload sit exactly in line where the rim lip is and the lower perch just under the lip it, I guess it’s my over all coilover lengths as when I adjust height the whole strut spins down into the lower tube… I’ve spoke to a couple of people and they tend to have similar issues with neo as the perches seem to be large in diameter, it’s fairly annoying just test for a +35 8.5 wheel and it still hits the strut for whatever goddamn reason

Or perch should I say, at this point I’m debating on just running an 8.5 + 35 with 15 mm spacers on an 205/40/18 while these lips get refaced
