+32 on an 8.5" wide wheel will poke out for sure. You'll need camber mounts in the front or you'll most likely rub regardless of tire size.

With that said, spacers are definitely not an option with those specs.

Surely it's been brought up here... but 18x9 +35? Hows the fit on this? I have some Team Dynamic wheels in this size and thinking about either them or some RPF-1

I'd imagine some camber plates would be needed and I'd likely be limited in tire size.. just wanted to hear if it's possible before I decide to either slap some rubber or sell them

Should be fine. Ride height also plays a big factor.

235/40 tires, at least -2 degrees camber front and rear. Stock caster, so no LCA upgrades or bushings. At least up front that's what I was running here, 18x9 ET 45 with 10mm spacers:

I don't like as much poke in the rear, and you'll have a little for sure.

Okay, help me out here. I am currently running 18x8 ET 40 up front with 235/40/18 Conti ECS. F to G on front is measured at 25.125 (lowered about 1.125" on APR springs. Do you think I can get away with running a 245/40/18 tire? When I first installed my current setup I rubbed only on the biggest bumps. Did fender screw mod and haven't rubbed since. I'd like to go up to a 245 tire for AutoX but not sure if I can swing it.

Pics for reference.

Last one and I’ll post pics of the GTI when it’s dialed in.

Does anyone have some 5mm spacers for sale?

I'm SEEING that the Bottom Sidewall of my Rear Tire is "OUT" more than the Top Sidewall
on my 2019 Golf SE.....Is this a Normal Camber Thing......

I now have my new VMR710 18x8.5 et45 / 235/40 Continental DWS06 mounted
and am trying to determine how thick of spacer to order for Rear Wheel ??????

My Front Wheel/Tire (same) is already OUT past Flush maybe a couple mm's
but overall looks GOOD ????

1) ive read that stock LUG BOLTS are 27mm. Is that length of threaded portion or total
2) Should new bolts be same amount longer as spacer thickness (ie 10mm spacer = 37mm bolt) or can they be 40mm?????? bolts
3) Give me specific bolt brand, web site link for Chrome Plated (not titanium $$$$) Bolts
4) Give me specific brand spacer to search for ....I want with LIP correct ????

Thank You Chuck S Auburn,WA

This has been answered too many times already in this thread, let alone all the other ones.

Any hub centric spacers will work. With that offset (+45), 10mm front and 15mm seems to be the most common. 40mm extended wheel bolts are also the most common length for those spacers.
