Aftermarket LED taillights animation coding

hello to everybody! is this possible only by coding or do i need some other adapters?

Video description says they are non-OEM. Creator also replied in the comments that he swapped his lights out for aftermarket units. My guess is that the animations are coded into the light itself. VCDS and other diagnostic software will almost certainly not be able to duplicate that on OEM tail lights.

Again, I have a strong suspicion that the animation is coded into that specific light itself. Diagnostic software will almost certainly not be able to add those animations.
