Is there any way to disable the AFS using obd11 or vcds or any type of coding! I got this after putting aftermarket headlights

Do you have obdeleven or vagcom? scanning the codes to see exactly what the error is will help.

These are the coding changes in module 9 Central Electronics to add AFS, I assume if you change those bytes to what you now have it would remove. I would start with just changing Byte 2 as Byte 6 deals with shutters for high beams.

Coding Changes:

Byte 02 - 02 Lighting: Bi-xenon w/o light assist
Byte 06 - 20 Xenon - Shutter (PR-8IG/8IM/8IP) installed

No. If your car when manufactured came with halogen, no there is no AFS.

Can you give me more explanation
