Affordable Pads and Rotors

Is there an affordable pad out there that can perform double duty? Be able to holdup at the track while still being streetable as well? Streetable to me is simply being able to operate well within lower temps. I'm not worried about noise or brake dust. I know Pagid is highly recommended, but their "do it all" pad is about $200 I believe. I'm hoping to find something a little bit cheaper.

For rotors I'm leaning towards Tyrol's but I think they're heavier than stock. Anyone here have those yet?

You pretty much know the answer:

- works well on track (when hot)
- works well on street (when cold, silent)
- cheap

Pick two of them, not three.

A forum member managed sourcing Endless MX72s directly from Japan for
about $200. Not the ideal track pad, but quite close to 'perfect' dual-duty,
which always means you have to accept a compromise. Using dedicated
sets of pads and swapping them is what I'd recommend though.
A proper ventilation will help to deal with this huge spread as it noticeably
decreases the peak temperatures on track. It's the temperature peak that
commonly destroys (dual-purpose) pads and rotors.
Tyrol sell rotors? Never seen them. Heavier compared to stock? How is it
possible? I don't believe in that. Stock rotors and all stock replacements
are all-iron and they all do weigh pretty much the same.

On a side note, why don't you use one of the existing brake pad threads?
