I actually did find an MK7 R I was interested in for a hot minute, but let rational thought talk me out of it since I'm not in a hurry or dire need to replace my current R.

Right price, right milage, right color. One owner, and was regularly serviced by a dealer. Has RS05RR wheels on it, which are like $2k+ wheels depending on the size. So obviously the prior owner took good care of the car, and had no problem spending money on it.

There's no shot of the engine bay, but the mods that are there usually go hand in hand with a flash tune. While there isn't any way to guarantee avoiding that, I'm trying to do what I can to avoid getting a car that will give me warranty issues if I ever need it.

The bad about it, which is what steered me away from it, is it looks like it was repossessed, then bounced around from auto auction to auto auction with no second owner buying it. It's mostly been sitting for the last year, with the odometer going up only about 200 miles.

If it was closer than about 3 hours away, I'd still probably go check it out in person.

Would rather die than visit NYC.

It's 25 miles to Manhattan for me but could take 2 hours if you're unlucky.

I once had it take me 3.5 hours to get to Brooklyn from northern NJ. It's like a 40 minute drive with no traffic.

Felt like spending money on car stuff, so I ordered a Roc Euro stabilizer arm. We'll see if it's as magical as people say.

How the heck did this owner change the color of the car in the infotainment system. Golf color is black?!

That car screams your style of a trade in… (what you trade in as a “stockish car” ) 😂

If you're talking about in the dash that is the color for that view I think. I'll have to check in my car.

But for infotainment... If you have MIB II Discover Pro...

Toolbox is also available for MIB 1 High but I doubt anyone here (in the states) has MIB 1 Discover Pro...

A little of my MIB II stuff, including poor use of GIMP. I've since cleaned up my work on all these images but I don't have new pictures.
