I could easily spend $3k on mods for this car right now. And that's only like... 6 things and doesn't include another $3500 of wheels and tires.

Not sure of priority asides from tint as soon as my car is inspected. Power folding mirrors will definitely be the last. Spending $700 on a JB4 kills me when you can get ones for the 7/7.5 used for like $200. I contemplated Zhong Zhong lights for about half of that, but decided against it. Also contemplated OEM ones for double that. Think the BMPs (which lets be honest, are probably Zhong Zhong lights with a custom harness anyway) are a good middle ground. Unlocking the matrix LED headlight function seems really neat, but paying almost $600 for someone to remote in and do some coding seems wild.

Idk. I was perfectly fine with the JB4 in my 7.5. If it wasn't a case of going "Holy fuck. $600 for a gesi downpipe? I'd be stupid not to!", I don't think I would have flash tuned it. I made it a year with the JB4

OR just do stuff that isn't likely to be a warranty problem. Get some <100tw tires, a manual swap, $4000 Penske shocks, then let the car sit on jackstands for a year j/k

actually though tires and sway bars would be an EZPZ solution. And an exhaust. But mk8s aren't slow out of the box. Idk, if anything I'd wait for a JB4 to come around used.
