ABS Wheelspeed Harness

Hello fellow VW owners, When I first got my Mk7 GTI I was running too wide of a wheel and ended up clipping my left side rear abs harness. I’ve ordered a new one but can’t figure out how i’m supposed to reach into the small Gromit hole to change it. If you follow it up into the rear fender there’s a little rubber triangle. I’ve included a picture for reference of the harness.
