I never thought I would ever sell this car, only selling to buy a tesla plaid. I started building this car at ~35k miles with the best parts and shops money could buy and it has been my favorite car I have ever owned and extremely reliable ever since.

This car looks stock until you drive it and it literally reminds me of a porsche behind the wheel. Seriously. >500hp at ~3,100lbs weight with amazing suspension and big ST40 brakes, easily pulls >1G on freeway onramp corners but rides better than stock. Goal was to build a quiet 4 door hatchback with Porsche 911+ performance, 30+ mpg, which my wife would comfortably daily to drop off kids at school everyday. You will be amazed at how well built this car is (easily >$15k of upgrades), how comfortable and quiet it is, yet is faster than a c6 corvette or a base 911. Ultimate sleeper.

Full detail and tune up done just last week. New NGK iridium spark plugs ($17 each), OEM VW coil packs, motul synthetic oil, new air filter, coolant flush. Car runs amazing and ready for new owner to enjoy her. Sad to see her go. Car comes with dyno sheets from EQT.

NO TEST DRIVES. Bring cash and I will take you for a drive.

VW Build/Mod list:

Engine: note that with stock intake (comes with car) installed this car will look 100% stock OEM to any mechanic and just throw stock downpipe and re flash to stock ECU and easily passed CA smog emissions easily. Car comes with stock downpipe also.

Custom COBB tune by tuning wizard Ed at EQT tuning, custom spark based traction control (is amazing!), etc Hours and hours spent making this car drive better tahn it did OEM until you floor it. Car comes with both custom 91 octane tune and E55 ethanol tune you can switch on COBB. Also custom EQT DSG tune. Easily $2k worth of tuning and dyno work.

Dyno tuned conservatively to 480whp/441tq on E55 fuel in 90* heat and 390whp with very conservative tune on 91 octane through stock muffler. 3,100lbs and >500hp is more power and less weight than a 2024 porsche carerra or z51 corvette.

90% of miles on car were commute car from SF to south bay or wife hauling kids around, and I don’t remember the last time I ran it on the E55 fuel unfortunately.

Sadly, I tried but I actually never got around to taking this car to the track (I own other race cars) but you could track this car if you wanted to.

Turbo: LITTCO “L380x” hybrid is38 turbo – This was one of the very first versions of the L380x turbos Littco made, it is a Golf R turbo housing with stronger and larger turbo bearings, VSR precision balanced, plus 5%+ larger compressor wheel with clipped exhaust side eliminates compressor surge. This car makes 440tq at the wheels at just 3,300rpm on E50 fuel. Amazing turbo.

NGK iridium race spark plugs 2 heat ranges colder than spark (these plugs are $17 each and I change them ever 8-10k miles) with brand new coil packs just done last week

BADS:
car has 98k miles on it and has typical wear minor chips/scratches (see pictures for all of this)

- curb rash on the stock austin rims

-rear seats have a few wrinkles from having three kid car seats for past 6 years

-some fading on the steering wheel and on the roof near the rack, you probably would not notice this unless I pointed it out

-small scratch/ding on lower bumper from a parking lot curb, you probably would not notice this also unless I pointed it out but I am very meticulous/OCD

-coilover suspension can be a littles creaky/squeeky sometimes. This is normal. If you don’t like it then buy a car with stock suspension or swap suspension back to stock.
