A big reason Why the dealers don't see is because in america its not in the recommended maintenance schedual you have to look on borg warners website to get when they recommend it
Your dealer doesn’t seem to be up to date with that maintenance protocol. Used to be that dealers would say it never needed to be done, from what I’ve read on here
YesSo what should I do call around to other dealers?
Yes call around and see how much it's going to cost for the service. When I bought my car they said they just did the lsd but not the dsg. Don't really trust them after some stuff they have been pulling. My quote is from one of the best turner friendly dealerships in Colorado even if the service writer didn't know what I was talking about I still trust the technician to perform the service. So what should I do call around to other dealers?
The independent mechanic I went to called a local dealer and the dealer was aware of the diff fluid change, but didn't have the diff fluid in stock.IDK what info the dealers have, but it's in my owners' manual.
Did they give you a breakdown of the prices?
