so today i bleed the brakes and adjust the coding like this:

ABS
Byte 24 , bit 6 needs to be checked.
Byte 27 bit 1 needs to be unchecked..

also disabled trailer assist in adaptations and now i have error free ABS unit

So byte 27 bit 1 stays enabled? thought you had to tick that off...

Hi all,

I am at a loss... after replacing the ABS unit... unfortunately the PLA3 is still not functional. It happened:

1) I replaced the Gateway: original LOW (SW: 5Q0 907 530 AG, HW: 5Q0 907 530 D) -> now HIGH (3Q0 907 530 AG, HW: 3Q0 907 530 C),
2) I replaced the ABS unit: original (SW: 5Q0 907 379 CK, HW: 5Q0 907 379 G) -> now (SW: 3Q0 907 379 AB, HW: 3Q0 907 379 G),
3) DSG (DQ 200) was updated to the latest available version,
4) I have the original PDC unit originally from the Golf 7 hatchback with DSG -> SW:5QA 919 298 D, HW:5QA 919 298 A

So already the same HW and SW as everyone who successfully upgraded from PLA2 to PLA3. I have no errors in the VCDS report …

Coding as follows:
1) PDC unit -> 5QA919298D -> 0271061051 (original 5Q0919298K had 0031061051)
2) ABS unit -> 3Q0 907 379 AB -> I tried:

But PLA3 still works only partially - after pressing the button, the car searches for a place to park, finds a place (it can even park diagonally now), parking starts, but the moment the display shows stop and I stop the car (before gear D should be engaged) the parking pilot ends.

Now without any errors on any unit. I think that problem is somewhere in PDC unit, maybe wrong coding? Or any wrong adaptations?

I only found one thing in the adaptations that I'm not sure if it's correct -> or rather I found other parameters on the net for the items highlighted below. I don't know what's correct and if it could be causing the assistant to terminate.

OK, you are using different (obsolete) VCDS software - assuming that this is a legit device (I hope that it is) - update the software to the latest release version from the Ross-Tech site and you should see the Dataset number in the SCAN report for the 10 module (see highlighted entry for the EU model below).

The other way to find the Dataset Number is to go to the Open Controller screen for the Park/Steer Assist module and select Adv. Meas. Values option - see below



Then enter "Dataset" into the search box - see below:


So, the 10 module in your car is:

With the unanswered question as to whether the Dataset number in your module is the same as the EU model and assuming that this car is built similarly - maybe try the coding value in the EU model?
