Hi.

I'm running slightly lowered (2.8-3.0") on 18x8et48 tires and have rolled front fenders. I can run 225/40-18 in the front only if they're Falken 512s with the narrow treadwidth (215 sized really...) The 912s I've tried up front in 225 don't fit and rub ALOT. The 512s stretch just a little bit and give me the fender clearance I need for daily driving. I don't auto-x or race, just lots of daily.

My question is this:

How bad would 35 series tires run all the way around? I've been thinking of some 215/35-18s as they're slightly cheaper and might give me a tad more fender clearance or dumptiness...

Has anyone tried it?

Car in question, 225/40-18 Falken 512 in front, 225/40-18 Falken 912 in rear:

You could try pulling the fenders as well...

I wouldn't consider 3" to be "slightly" lowered. That's pretty close to tucking tire or at least flush.
