This has probably been asked and answered, but I couldn't seem to find it in a search. I ran 245/45-17 on a MK7 GTI and 245/40-18 on a MK7.5 R. I'm back to GTI (before they ruin it with the MK8), and I want more meat on the wheels.
QUESTION: has anyone ever run 235/45-18 on a 7.5" rim width on a MK7 or 7.5 GTI with no drop? I'm never gonna drop the ride height or change suspension. I understand the increased diameter/circumference messes up the speedo accuracy, etc, and I don't care. I just wanna know if they will fit w/o rubbing.
