Hi all, since a few weeks we are driving a stock MK7 from 2013. It is our secondary car for groceries and other rides short distance.

Currently the car has 225-45-r17 with summertyres. As far as i understand, ET47 as stock.

Bless the old man, but my grandfather past away a while ago. In his garage there was a winterset 225-50-R17 ET42 with good profile. Also 5x112, may need some hubrings.

Not looking at speedometer and fuel consumption, will the 45 > 50 give any issues?
The MK7 is a completely stock Trendline from Oct 2013.

Can confirm 225/50/17 fits on stock ride height.

Can I ask you what your wheel specs are? I’m about to put some 225/50/17 Michelin X-Ice snow on my MK7, and I’m torn between ET45 and ET35.
