Alright give it to me straight. Will this fit a MK 7 R and how dumb is the idea...


Attached is the willtheyfit summary, so roughly 15mm closer to the strut. Weight is up 5.5lb per corner (less than I expected). Anything else I should be aware of?

Maaaaybe. With 7-10m spacer, then you’re looking at a 255 on 9” with 42 offset which is doable. But you’d need front camber to avoid rubbing. More so if you’re lowered. 255 on a 9” rim is doable with the right offset though. People can fit 265/35/18 on 9” rim on Golf Rs.

Man do those Audi TTs have huge wheels for such a small car.

Darn I was hoping it would be possible with a spacer and fender screw mod if necessary at most

Is your car stock height? You could probably get away daily driving with the fender screw mod. Not sure though.
