Hate the new MK8 so far, the 7/7.5 is so much better, will have to see it in person to decide but so far I'll probably just buy a newer 7/7.5 than downgrade to an mk8, looks awful.

It'd make a pretty good looking SUV I guess.

^ this is on the track, in a corner.

Thus the extra wheel gap.

I love it, haters gonna hate.

That's why I picked that one. All I can see is SUV. I don't even see a hatchback.

Did you not digest what I said?

Its mid corner thus weight transfer is happening and the wheel gap is caused by lift on the inside corner of the car.

The shot is also taken low.

Street suspension isn’t really made for blasting down the autobahn in a flat stance. That’s why mostfolks go aftermarket when tracking their car.

That gap is caused by compliance and softer spring rates.

I'm not sure what's making you think I can't notice the obvious, but ok.

Nothing about that pic looks "mid-corner" to my eye, but hey, who knows?

Lots of stuff on that car not likely to be final - I'll be shocked if they carry over the Prets to a new generation, no matter how popular they may be now. The front end looks camouflaged. And they're likely still doing suspension tuning so who knows how high or low it might sit in final form. Don't care, zero interest. Absolutely hate the back end from any/all angles, and the all-capacitive controls are a complete non-starter for me.

May not be mid corner but that suspension is definitely unloaded.
Can't tell exactly where they are on the Ring from that pic...
