2019 VW GLI with GTI Power

Article says now that both cars are on the same platform they can get the same power. (i still like my hatch though )

Good that they are bumping this car up.
But the last one I sat in had a lot of hard plastic.
Did it get a GTI interior?

Might mean a MK8 GTI will have even more of a bump.
