I do...oh wait he hasn't low key asked me to marry him, yet... awaiting the PM. He promised me a set of stiffer, but softer, decreased, increased, but decreased rate springs to make the car stiffer and lower but not change camber, whacking while out toe springs...I want them as my wedding gift. I am so happy, because he is a proclaimed and named doctor...my jewish mother is proud.
Your rabbi is disappointed. He requests your presence at sundown next Friday.

Since they seem to be obsessed with me (the smug ass)...I can only ASSume, proctology is the specialty from the expert diagnoses. That would be my ASSumption of the situation.

How much negative camber was on your fronts? Any abnormal wear there?

I have right at -2.0° in the rear, and my street tires are not worn like you said yours were.
Thanks for your reply, but I strongly believe your rear tires will wear out on the inside edges long before they should with -2 degrees. It’s only logical. Nothing else causes that.

Rear toe...with more than 1-5 to 1.7 deg of camber...kills tires...and green in VWs specs...means F all for tire wear. Zero toe is great for tire wear, but not "green" on the alignment machine.

Do you have any suspension mods?

Either way...
Reduce the rear camber....and set zero toe on all 4 corners...and Rotate every 5000K miles....

When the dealer trys to tell you...but its not green or but...tire wear....ask them..."how will zero toe....increase my tire wear?".

They won't have a coherent answer....or you may get lucky...and they wont give you any shade...and will do what you asked...since you are paying them for an alignment....and not their opinions.

Also, with tires that worn...an alignment on WORN TIRES will be mostly worthless....so fresh tires first...then minimize camber and set zero toe...

Since your in Charlotte....have you looked into a good VW indy shop...a few like DAP repair?
Thanks for your reply. Took it to Dynamic Auto Repair and they zeroed it all out. From now on the dealer only gets warranty repairs.

I feel there are three settings: one for max stability, one for max tire wear, and one for the track. Pick one. I picked stability because I don't track or care about tire wear.
