Getting hot in here.
So take off all your... downpipes?
Getting hot in here.
im sorry for the super late reply. Wastegate actuator was getting stuck open in hot conditions, and turbo WAS replaced under warranty. The car feels good majority of the time however when it gets hot outside I start to experience similar compressor surge type systems under 75% throttle-WOT. I am going to get an intercooler for the car and see if cooler IAT's will make that issue go away. also going to invest in a quality downpipe (probably MAperformace) to eliminate the possibility of my old downpipe contributing to the "issue" at all. I am at 5200 feet above sea level, so Im thinking an intercooler will help me get cooler, more dense air.So was it the turbo and did it get replaced under warranty?
I just wanted to inform the forum about my 2019 gti turbo that was replaced under warranty due to wastegate actuator failure. This thread is comical to me.
