Hi all,
I am wondering if this is normal. The car is a 2019 Alltrack with 6-speed manual, and sometimes when letting off the throttle quickly (even when not accelerating hard), it feels like the drivetrain jerks a little, like from a soft engine mount. Is this normal on these cars, and would a dogbone mount insert help? The car has 9k miles on it so I doubt the engine mounts are worn out. I bought it only about 1000 miles ago so it's been like this the whole time. It's not violent, but I feel like this slight jerkiness shouldn't be there. I'm not sure if it's an engine mount issue or something else. Otherwise, the car drives like a 9k mile car should.
If a dogbone mount insert is the cure, I was looking at the 034 Motorsport one, and I wonder if anyone off hand knows which version of the dogbone mount I'd have on a 2019 Alltrack. Is it v1 or v2? Does it make sense to install the upper dogbone mount as well?
thank you!
