2017 VW GTI Infotainment system reset ??

My infotainment system on my 2017 GTI has started acting up. Navigation system will not start and system randomly reboots. I have tried holding the power button down for 10 plus seconds but that doesn't seem to reset the system. any ideas/suggestions would be most welcomed!!

Hold it for way longer than you think you need to hold it. Like 30 seconds

Ya you probably needed to just hold it a few more seconds, idk about 30 tho. The screen will eventually turn black for a few seconds and then the VW/Fender logo appears

This happened to my '17 and it had to go back to the dealer for a software update.
