Why would the cargo dimensions change? Vw has a donut that fits under the current cargo area. It's just not included in America bound cars.

Weathertech already makes a rubber cargo liner that correctly fits 2015-16 R's. Came out a couple of weeks ago.

Yes. Lift up the panel and take a look at the space. You actually have the option of lowering the bottom a few inches to make more cargo space.

I thought 4MOTION makes that impossible.
My guess is no. I'm not even sure VW adds a high beam sensor. Perhaps VW can make the sensor on the back of the rear view mirror can do double duty with a tweak? Not that we could.
I've done it on my car... It's in the lower position right now actually.
