2017 DSG leak

Good afternoon,
I’ve got a 2017 GTI with 23,000 miles on it. It’s been parked in the driveway for about two weeks and today after the recent snow melted I noticed a transmission fluid leak. I’ve only a jack and jack stands. Are these prone to leaking anywhere specific? I see oil on the splash guard looking from above. Any information is MUCH appreciated.

Are they prone to leak, no. Off the top of my head there's only one spot that it should/could leak from the bottom and that's the drain/fill hole. Are you sure it's trans? The trans fluid looks very much like oil

I thought coolant too. It smells like ATF fluid and on the splash pan, it’s reddish in color.

DSG fluid isn't red from what i know

10-4. What would be reddish in color? Coolant? It feels oily to me and the coolant reservoir is just below the minimum cold level. I’ll jack it up in the morning and figure something out hopefully. Thank you again.

CCoolant is pinkish reddish and feels slimy oily. Check the thermostat housing for dried on leakage, staining.
