Can you connect to Android Auto using bluetooth or do you have to use a cable. Did a search but could not find the answer

Not really sure where/how you could stash it without splicing into the original USB and routing into the center console/glovebox/etc but i suppose that would depend on the final product's size and whatnot.

Sorry to be a bit OT but I don’t want to mess this up with another topic. Anybody have issues to call via AA interface? When I try to call, nothing happened – I don’t see any icon. I choose my wife as a sample and she told me that I was calling her for couple of minutes with no ability to answer the call but I already left and locked the car (with phone still plugged via cable).
When I try to use the VW interface to call (Phone button on the radio) it starts to dial but an error appears afterwards. When I unplug the phone, everything works fine. Incoming calls also no issues. I’m suspicious that it is related to dual-SIM card phone that I’m using…so anybody having similar issue or you guys overseas all have fruit phones?
