No, and coding is only one small issue in the grand scheme of it. Best advice is to buy the car with the lights you want as OEM upgrades can NOT be retrofitted without large expense and effort.
Halogen, HID, LED are all different and they can NOT be easily or cheaply interchanged. This is talking about OEM applications. There are some aftermarket lighting options that many people have done. Still some work and expense and not as good as OEM, but better than the marginal halogen lighting set-up. Lots of stuff has been posted about aftermarket lights, but you're replacing the entire system, not just a bulbs. So housings, ballasts, igniters, modules, wiring, coding, adjusting etc, etc as applicable will be necessary. Tools and knowledge is a must as well......oh yeah...........and $$$$
