Need an SUV. Still love this GTI, but sadly, time to move on...

Never raced. Mature owner. Well maintained. Engine rarely hit redline.

• Base 2-Door "S" trim w/Performance Package

• Original owner - purchased Feb 2015 at "Team Hayward" VW

Personally I would say it’s a bit high. I just bought a 2015 4 door with PP and LP with 50k miles for 19k in SoCal 1 owner also

its not a 4 door, its a 2 door, but the miles and age are up there, i do understand where you are coming from.

I personally don’t see why a 2 door should be worth more as it is less practical and more expensive to insure. Just my .02

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. If anyone is interested, please reach out ASAP. The car will be sold to Carfax/Carvana soon otherwise.

Regarding why you’d want a 2 door. Why I bought it: It’s lighter and stiffer than a 4 door, especially with no moonroof. I also prefer the look of the two door. They are rare. I can’t think of the last time I saw one.

On insurance rate, I doubt you’ll pay a premium insurance rate for a 2 door. I pay $50/mo for full coverage.

Regarding price, I comp’d local dealers. There’s a 2015 with 128k miles that’s asking $25k. Yes that’s crazy. But that’s the market. Two year old base Macan’s are selling for $70k. Insane.

I posted my car here so that buyers interested in a modded GTI can get one for a reasonable price.
