yeah the coupe looks really weird and next to my integra it looks huge. The sedan doesn't look bad in SI form though.

That 0-60 time seems as fast as a manual GTI? Plus you could probably shift it quicker than the GTI's slow shifter

Still, That's not slow by any means.

very true.

Get a CTEngineering SC kit and you can take that Si 2.4 to 300HP 280TQ - mad fun.

Sounds like it. With a true mechanical LSD and a larger rear sway, I bet that would give the reviewers what they want.

I'm dying to drive a S/C 9thgen SI

I got the same times they did when I drove one at the test facility. (6.0-6.3) on summer tires. That shifter is definitely refined and one of the best shifters I've dealt with.

The engine sounds good too.

Definitely. Its not obnoxious like the 8thgen, but not as quiet as the enthusiasts are making it seem.

It's the K24 same engine I believe from the first gen TSXs. A lot of 8th gen civic owners were swapping that engine and using Hondata to hot rod out their cars.

Same foundation. Not the same engine per say. Two different Engine Code types. Which could very well just be tiny changes that no user would ever see.

Tires make a big difference.

No kidding. It should pretty much be on ALL performance vehicles, regardless of destination. Why NOT have it perform to the best of its abilities.

But....I see the other side.

I don't really care too much about what they sell it with as I'll just put whatever I want on there myself, but these magazines really need to just pick a type of tire and test everything on the same one. It's very misleading when they are basically testing tires and not cars.

Its even better when they test later with different tires and get different numbers and say..."Oh, well I guess it DOES perform better than we thought"

oh I like how obnoxious the 8th gen and a lot of Honda motors are once the stock intake is changed , even with a stock exhaust, there is a nice growl to it unlike the GTI it is still way to quiet.

The 2013 accord also sounded really nice when I drove it, I like hearing my engine when i drive. Gotta see if I can get away with test driving a 9th gen si when I take a family members car for service, Dealers seem strict about letting people test drive Si's in general without buying, whereas getting into the accord was quite easy.
