The electronic odometer and time appears when the car is unalarmed and the driver’s door is opened but the car is totally dead when the key is in the ignition. Could this be an immobiliser issue? Last week I also received a letter from VW NZ re recall about the mechatronic unit, could this be it?
Last week the car drove for approx 5 mins but when we reversed into a driveway and then started to drive it shutdown.
