20-21 GTI Autocross Classing

Hi! Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but I legitimately googled for a few hours to try to figure this out. What class is the 2020 and 2021 GTI? SCCA 2022 shows the following.

G Street:

H Street:

D Street has the GOLF R.

I'm going to buy a MK7 GTI, but I want to autocross it. Is there something super obvious I'm missing here?

It's 99.9999% G street
