2.0TDI SE and the 2.0GT TDI?

Hi guys - new to the forums here picking up my TDI soon and i read alot about the 2.0GT TDI and was wondering the main differences between the two?

The GT model has :

Lowered Sports Suspension (10mm).
Larger 17" Dijon alloys.
Discover Navigation system.
Front Sport Seats
Front fogs.
Chrome trimmed inserts on front.
Privacy Glass (B pillar back).
Cherry Red rear light clusters.
Gloss black dash inserts.
Parking sensors - front & rear.
Titan black Alcantara / Global seat fabric.
Ambient Lighting in cabin.

Thank you for your reply. Helps a lot! I think I would've preferred the GT version when I was about 5 years younger! I can live with the SE spec!

The GT also includes the Mirror pack and carpet mats.

If you look at my spec (2.0 TDI SE with parking sensors and mirror pack) then at today's prices a GT would only be and extra £410 plus the cost of mats of some sort.

I originally asked for night blue but was told to wait a few months - i couldn't! managed to sort out the whole deal and pick up within two weeks. Anyone had any experiences with Citygate Colindale?


I wanted the leathers, reverse camera, sensors and bi xenons but just couldn't justify the cost of it all. I'm looking to swap it for the newer model in a few years anyway.

I've got the DSG - hows the manual? Thursday still seems too far!
