Would like to see some examples and which tire brand. Definitely like the look of michelins but not sure if it's in the budget.

If one does not want to go lower, this is like, the perfect set-up in my opinion.
ET43 on those wheels in particular correct?
Do they ever rub?

It rubs every few months if I hit an extreme bump.

I haven’t done the screw tuck mod so that should solve that.

DG Springs are in my garage waiting for cooler days ahead to install.

damn those fat tires are sexy

Yep, every time I park with a GTI in Austin’s I am reminded how good the meaty look is.

I went from 225/40 to 235/40 to 245/40.

Such a great look!

Love that setup and would go with the same tire to fill up the fender gap at stock height.

Any pics of the wheels without the caps on them? I swear Konig makes the weirdest center caps.

Nope, I think it would just be a hole looking at the hub without it.

Pre-Sticker on the Konig Cap

Here are some more for the meaty lovers.

Looks awesome, if only the ampliforms came in a lighter gunmetal or silver i'd be all over them.

Did the 235/40R18 rub? I assume they were mounted on the same wheels? If they were, I presume 18" X 8" ET 4X should not rub?

Don’t recall, I only had the 235s on for a few months before they were wore out.

Don’t worry, just bend up the tab at the top of the wheel arch and you’re golden.

245s look so much better to my eyes, and they ride better as well.

Are you on stock springs or aftermarket? It's harder to tell with the slightly taller tire height. Thanks!
